Next 04:08
Next. It doesn’t matter what kind of person you are The way you dance or if you can spit quite far It doesn’t matter if your whole world is cancer Or that it tastes so good you’d patent the flavour… You won’t be spared for being kind to your children Or having guts or charm or extreme opinions Or being dull and having nothing to say It doesn’t matter at the end of the day… The world spins on into the silent void You could be the next one to fall off You flounder now clinging onto the wreckage Drowning, going under, safe in the knowledge That you are Captain and life is here for your leisure I can even call you Sir if you will feel better How I will laugh when I think of your face The day it dawned on you that no one is safe That’s why I don’t give a fuck anyway It doesn’t matter at the end of the day… We will look at each other nervously Who will be the next one to go Who’s it gonna be ? No matter what you say… The world spins on… The world spins on into the silent void…

Told You So 04:19
Told you so I hate being right it seems to happen all the time Dreaded sinking feeling Predicting with surgical precision Foresight with no bounds Shame you’re not around to listen to my Every single word I miss your rapt attention I hate being left To kill time by ranting on and on and… Every single word Begs your rapt attention You tried to fool me with your screwed-up vision You tried to warn me but I never used to listen Now I sink in quicksand, make my lonely last stand You wish you’d heard me out now, told you so I hate being right But I’ll indulge just one last time When this night is through You’ll wish I was there to guide you I didn’t fit in with your perfect vision You tried to warn me but I’d never fucking listen Now I sink in quicksand, make my lonely last stand I’m what I’ve always wanted to be Told you so… I told you… so.

Playing with Echoes. Does that sound ring a bell? Did those words sound sincere? (I once loved being here, I should hate it but it seems to suit me somehow…) Plunge on headfirst into a memory (Hold your breath and count to ten thousand; those were the good old days…) Claw your way back up to the surface, cough up ghosts and realize (The hole in your soul that you dug for them was not quite deep enough…) Ask what’s wrong; drag me back, guilt is reality (The mirror begs for answers and I have none…) It drives me crazy like Murdoc (court) You drive me crazy like Murdoc (court). When it’s time for a change I am a few years late (Like a frozen calendar fading on the office wall…) I now know where I am, I have been here before (That is exactly what keeps me coming back for more) I’ll keep on thumping ‘till my thumb’s black and drops I’ll keep on snarling ‘till my throat seizes up I’ll keep on searching; I’ll keep on screwing up I’ll keep on screwing up ‘Cause I am crazy like Murdoc (court) You drive me crazy like Murdoc (court) Now I just play with the echoes (harmo grave) If you want answers I have none (harmo grave) If you want reasons I have none I’m not your father he has gone…(harmo grave) If you want pity I have none You make me crazy like… Murdoc (long)

Never Forgive, Never Forget Live life to the full, good to the last drop Every single new day is a gift to grow, to love and to pass on in turn Every new experience is another chance to improve, to change and to learn… But I can… Never forgive, never forget I never forget, never forgive I never forgive, never forget I never forget Never forgive, never forget I… I never forget, never forgive I never forget. Get used to it all, Keep dreaming on, Leave nothing to chance, leave nothing behind, Tie up loose ends and make sure they stay tight. Radiate tranquility, be a true example of what man can become… But I can… Never forgive, never forget I never forget, never forgive I never forgive, never forget I never forget Never forgive, never forget I… I never forget, never forgive I never forget. I never… Life is sweet, But I can never forgive and I can never forget it all So, so sweet. But I can never forgive and I can never forget it all Sweeping rage. But I can never forgive and I can never forget at all Life is good.

My First and Only Lesson And it comes back now despite the pain and everything And when you hear it speak you grit your teeth and shut your eyes But it won’t let you slip away From its baleful stare and harsh rusty voice that speaks with the bitter truth of experience They will have to prise open my death-grip on you. It’s the hardest thing you’ll ever learn and the first and only lesson that you’ll hear from me I wish things were different but that’s how it is There’s no more to add because There’s no truth, there’s just you… Again and again and again, It’s just a matter of who and when You will be disappointed, dispirited and revolted Just hold on tight to whatever you choose, may no one come near on pain of great pain. May they have to prise open your death-grip too… And marvel at your smile and wonder why the joke’s on them. Eternal head scratching, always asking just shut up and think for a second ‘cause… There’s no truth, there’s just what you can make of it all. Now go! Shut up and just try to think for yourself Shut up! Shut up and you will feel oh so much better Shut up!

Castle Doctrine I sit in the darkness and listen for your key in the door I dream of your footsteps, your shuffle on the tiles of my floor I swear I heard your hand on the doorknob, down those three steps and into my room I hear you breathe and I can almost smell your madness, I’ll turn and smile ‘cause I’ve been waiting for you I’ll feel like an angel with a flaming sword Go ahead! Make my day! If you feel lucky! Now I think back to those happy times, when those annoying children filled this house with their laughter I can’t believe this is the same place: tonight as chaos reigns if it’s God’s will I will kill her And I stare into space, and hope for one chance to even the score My grip tightens on the adjustable spanner And it feels like being an angel with a flaming sword Go ahead! Make my day! If you feel lucky! I’ve drawn my line in the sand, so do you feel lucky? Please force me to stand my ground Please cross my fucking line in the sand I hope that you will recall my name.

One Parachute I will give up trying to understand I will sign off now for another station. We’ve only got one parachute Did you count them? Well please just count again! I will miss out just on this occasion. Crabbing like a Super Guppy with twin engine failure Stamping on the rudder pedals, straining just to hold her. Handling like an old Antonov with no elevator The Vodka burner’s rolling with no pitch control to save her. The warning lights, the ECAM blares Master caution, nothing works. Martin Baker, here I come. Pull my handle, I am gone. Drifting down beneath the stars Nightmare’s over, all is calm. Gentle touch down, tuck and roll, when I sit up You’re waiting for me. Diving like a Stuka on some unsuspecting Russian, Airbrakes jammed shut, ground is looming, seconds to oblivion.

Chaos Rains 04:32
Chaos Reigns Now is the time to feel horrified Some old habits just never die Like an nth sequel with no more to say Spin-offs and reboots will not save us now I’m afraid …what you see is what you get now but you also get what you don’t want to see… The shit we can do out of fear… Of dying alone, dissolving in beer Rage, recover, repeat after me Your fear is a weapon, as long as it’s used sparingly …what you see is what you get now but you also get what you don’t’ want to see…yeah! Smeared your body, locked your mind in Anger growing, too blind to describe But not enough yet – you can do better Open your eyes and specify Specify your will to survive Still not enough now, you’ll have to do better If you want this you will have to rid yourself from the following: -From ignorance -From weakness -From vanity -And sheer dumb unluck

Journey’s End We tried to live a thirty-something dream Then it caught on; you’re not yet thirty-something right? My red-haired child so innocent, yet still a bitch Screwed-up once again over nothing worth mentioning So I say “Hey, where do we go now?” Journey’s End Try a big old house outside these city walls Where you carry me, then I carry you, then I let you go again Blacking out alone now on the swing beneath the tree The winter spins around me closing in now So I say “Hey, where do we go now?” Journey’s End Why bother to love? You can pretend Why bother to hate? You can ignore Why bother to grow? You can stagnate Why bother at all it just delays… Why bother to listen when you can talk? Why bother to learn when you just know? Why bother to rise when you can sleep? Why bother to sleep? You can just drink! Why bother to eat? You can just drink! Why bother to find someone to drag you from this hell? The winter spins around me now. Just a thirty-something dream for you and me… And I say.

about

Le Minus Toulouse, France

Lurking within each of us lies Le Minus, that bitter, frustrated, hard-done by inner voice that whispers of conquest and unappeased revenge. Biding time, it sees and mocks our loneliest moments with a wry sense of humour…

This trio sums up two decades of alternative rock and fusion. Their style is an explosive cocktail of energy, instinct, groove and power.
